This is a key leadership role where you'll oversee the technical services function, ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable mining operations.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you'll provide strategic direction, mentor a high-performing team, and deliver technical excellence across mine planning, geology, and survey disciplines.About the role:As Technical Services Superintendent, you will:Lead and develop the Technical Services team to achieve operational and strategic goalsOversee mine planning, design, and scheduling to optimise production and resource recoveryProvide technical expertise and support to operations, ensuring compliance with statutory and company standardsDrive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, productivity, and cost efficiencyCollaborate with stakeholders across operations, projects, and corporate functionsEnsure accurate and timely reporting of technical data and performance metricsAbout youWe're looking for someone who brings:Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related disciplineProven leadership experience in open-cut coal mining operationsStrong technical knowledge of mine planning, design,
