you'll play an integral role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest standards of patient care across all aspects of the clinic.Your responsibilities will include:Pre- and post-operative patient careSurgical nursing assistance, anaesthetic monitoring, and patient recoveryAnimal pathology and diagnostic testingHospital nursing and inpatient careEmergency and critical care nursing supportPerforming minor procedures within your scope of practiceMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control throughout the clinicSupporting reception and client services when requiredDelivering exceptional care and customer service to clients and patientsAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is passionate about veterinary nursing, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and values being part of a close-knit team.To be successful in this role, you'll have:Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)Minimum 2 years' experience as a Veterinary NurseConfidence assisting with surgery, anaesthesia, and patient recoveryStrong animal handling and clinical nursing skillsExcellent organisational and time management abilitiesThe ability to remain calm, efficient, and adaptable in a busy clinic environmentOutstanding communication and client service skillsHigh attention to detail and accurate record keepingA positive attitude and willingness to support teammates wherever neededExperience with RX Works is advantageous but not essentialAbout Wetherill ParkLocated in Sydney's western suburbs, Wetherill Park is a vibrant and growing community with easy access to major transport routes, shopping centres, cafés, and local amenities.
