Since we were established in ****, we have grown steadily by delivering high-quality electronic products and assemblies.About the roleReporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will provide technical support across our manufacturing operations, including the assembly, testing, fault-finding, repair and quality assurance of electronic products and assemblies.Key responsibilitiesTest, diagnose and repair faults in electronic assemblies, printed circuit boards and components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators and other test equipmentPerform functional and quality testing of manufactured products to make sure they meet specifications and standardsAssemble, solder and rework through-hole and surface-mount components to required quality standardsSet up, calibrate and maintain production and test equipmentRead and interpret schematics, circuit diagrams, bills of materials, technical drawings and specificationsAssist engineers with prototyping, product development and design modificationsIdentify recurring faults and recommend improvements to production processes and product reliabilityPrepare test reports, quality records, fault logs and technical documentationEstimate the materials and time needed for jobs,



and help monitor stock of components and partsEnsure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards, quality procedures and WHS requirementsSkills and experience requiredDiploma or Advanced Diploma in Electronics, Electronic Engineering or a related field, or equivalent qualification2–3 years of full time experience as an Electronics Technician or in a similar roleStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills at component and board levelProficiency with electronic test and measurement equipmentAbility to read and interpret schematics and technical documentationExperience with soldering and PCB assembly/rework, including surface-mount componentsGood attention to detail and an understanding of quality control in a manufacturing environment Good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a teamWhat we offerSalary of $77,000 – $82,000 per annum plus superannuationStable, full-time permanent position in a growing electronics manufacturing businessOngoing training and professional developmentAbout CompanyElectronics Manufacturing Experts.
