This hands‐on role forms part of a multi‐disciplined team responsible for maintaining parks, reserves and open spaces across the Rockhampton Region.As a Plant Operator / Labourer, you will operate tractors, ride‐on mowers and other plant and equipment while undertaking a range of mowing, slashing, vegetation management, horticultural and general parks maintenance activities.
You will also assist with pest and weed management, irrigation maintenance and the upkeep of public spaces to ensure safe, attractive and well‐maintained community assets.This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking forAbility to legally operate a manual transmission Tractor and associated implements,
