The successful candidates will work as part of a skilled production team, bending, folding and cutting metal components in line with engineering drawings, SOPs and daily production requirements.Whilst qualifications are not necessary for the role, metal fabrication and brake press experience is highly regarded.Key Responsibilities:Operate brake press machinery to bend, fold and cut metal componentsSet up and operate brake press tools and diesProduce premium vehicle protection products to required quality standardsComplete First Offs and Last Offs in accordance with quality proceduresRead and understand Engineering Drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Meet daily production schedules and production targetsCarry out general manufacturing and fabrication dutiesMaintain machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operationEnsure products meet required quality standardsMaintain a clean and organised workstationAttend daily toolbox meetingsComplete general housekeeping dutiesFollow OH&S; policies and procedures, including wearing correct PPERequirements:Previous experiencing CNC programming and operation is highly regardedExperience in metal fabrication or manufacturingStrong communication and teamwork skillsCommitment to workplace safety and qualityWho we areAs one of Australia's largest employers, we work with great companies all around Australia and New Zealand to give you the best opportunities to work when and where you want to.At Programmed, we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive setting which values and respects diverse styles, backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.We welcome and encourage women, people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent and people from diverse backgrounds to apply.So it's over to you.
