This position is suited to an accountant who is looking to strengthen their technical capability,



gain broader client exposure and take on greater responsibility within a supportive environment.
Working closely with experienced professionals, you will continue developing your skills across compliance and client management while building towards the next stage of your career.What You'll Be DoingCollaborating with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed accurately and within required timeframesTaking the lead in preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFsPreparing BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG obligations for a variety of entitiesPreparing annual workers' compensation and payroll tax reconciliationsWorking directly with an experienced Partner, with the aim of gradually managing a diverse client portfolioLiaising with statutory authorities on behalf of clientsBuilding strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of serviceParticipating in training seminars, team meetings and social eventsWhat You'll BringAt least two years' experience within a chartered accounting practiceCA qualification or currently undertaking CA studiesA bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or a related disciplineExperience using platforms such as MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero or QuickBooks, or the ability to quickly learn new systemsStrong communication, organisational and relationship-building skillsA commitment to delivering exceptional client serviceThe ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamA proactive approach to learning, new technology and continuous improvementA genuine desire to develop professionally and progress into a more senior accounting roleTake the Next StepIf you are looking to continue building your accounting career in Bowral, this is an opportunity to join a supportive local team, work closely with experienced professionals and contribute meaningfully to the success of clients within the community.
