As Management Accountant, you'll support the Senior Accountant to deliver key day-to-day accounting functions and help build the financial confidence of our leaders, managers and staff.You will:Work with senior management and program managers to develop and manage program budgets and forecasts, and provide insights that support decision makingCoordinate and support the annual budget and forecasting processDevelop, maintain and monitor financial models, including cost recovery methodologiesAnalyse profit and loss results against budget and forecast, and investigate variancesMaintain the funding acquittal register and prepare program budgets and acquittals in line with funding agreements and reporting deadlinesProvide backup support for payroll and work with the HR team on accurate cost allocations across programs and funding streamsWhat's on offerIn addition to a competitive salary, Thorne Harbour Health pays above award rates.You will also be able to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging perks as well as accessing professional and career development.Hybrid working arrangements are also available.About youYou will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with CPA or CA certification.
You will also have:Extensive demonstrated and relevant accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit or charitable organisationA sound understanding of Australian accounting principles, regulations and statutory reporting requirementsDemonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting,



financial analysis and management reporting, and the ability to turn financial information into business insightsIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills and strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlinesExperience with finance, budgeting and payroll systems.
