Casual Swim InstructorMelbourne Grammar School is seeking Swim Instructors for our Grimwade Club program at our co-educational Junior School, Grimwade House.Grimwade Club provides MGS students with the opportunity to learn how to swim or be part of an extensive Swim Squad program in our 25-meter heated indoor pool facility.
As a Swim Instructor, you will encourage and motivate swimmers to develop solid, technically correct swimming skills whilst building their confidence in the water.This is a casual role, with shifts available Monday to Friday, from 3.20pm to 5.50pm.This role will see youDeliver a structured swimming lesson incorporating positive feedback and encouragementEffectively assist in the operation of the swimming lessons, under the direction of the Swim School CoordinatorAssist in the planning and implementation of a stimulating program, relevant to the developmental needs of all childrenDevelop students' skills within the current frameworkThe successful candidate willBe an enthusiastic Swim instructorHolds or working towards current AUSTSWIM or equivalent qualificationHold First Aid and CPR certificatesHold an Employee Working with Children Check.Our School is a place of extraordinary possibilities.Melbourne Grammar School is one of Australia's leading independent schools that believes in the holistic education of young people.
