Our Waurn Ponds Estate hospitality team is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to support the day-to-day operations of our kitchen team.
Reporting to the Chef in Charge, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and effective kitchen while assisting with food preparation and service.Your key responsibilities will be to:Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standardsWashing and sanitising dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipmentClean and maintain kitchen floors, including sweeping, scrubbing and moppingKeeping the kitchen, dish area, and storage areas clean and organisedOrganise and maintain pantry shelvingRemove hard rubbish and kitchen food waste using our closed-loop compost machineAssist with basic food preparation and food service tasks as requiredAdhere to health and hygiene standards at all timesTo be successful, you'll have:Minimum 6 months experience in food preparation and or food serviceAbility to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environmentDemonstrates a positive attitude and strong work ethicStrong teamwork skills and a cooperative approachThe role requires the incumbent to apply and maintain a Working with Children CheckAvailability required between 9.30am to 8.00pmTo apply please submit your updated CV.
