About the Role
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational reliability, safety, and presentation of our fleet.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
Routine servicing and scheduled maintenance
Preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults
Conducting safety checks and defect rectification
Brake, suspension and driveline repairs
Roadworthy preparation and compliance activities
Completing maintenance records and documentation
Working collaboratively with fellow tradespeople and workshop staff
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic
Experience maintaining heavy vehicles,



buses, trucks or similar equipment
Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills
A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current driver's licence
HR licence (desirable but not essential)
