Controlling traffic safely with a stop-slow bat
Setting up and packing down signs, cones and barriers to the approved Traffic Management Plan
Keeping the public, workers and plant secure around the work zone
Talking clearly with site supervisors, crews and the public
Following site safety procedures at all times
About you
RIIWHS205E – Control traffic with stop-slow bat (Traffic Controller), or an earlier equivalent version (essential)
RIIWHS302E – Implement traffic management plan (essential)
Construction Induction Card (White Card) (essential)
Current driver's licence and reliable transport (essential)
Experience on VicRoads/DTP road or arterial jobs (desirable)
Reliable, punctual and safety-focused




Physically fit and able to stand outdoors for long shifts in all weather
Your own steel-capped boots
