Enterprise Agreement:AMA VICTORIA – VICTORIAN PUBLIC HEALTH SECTOR – MEDICAL SPECIALISTS ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT
Reports to:Clinical Director of Medicine
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Provision of renal services to patients under direct care
Supervision of haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis units
Collaboration with other medical units for patient care
Conducting various clinics and ward rounds
Maintaining thorough medical records
Teaching and training medical students
Participating in quality improvement activities
Involvement in research projects
Collaboration with colleagues for service improvement




Compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Documentation in patient notes
Professional behavior with staff, patients, and visitors
Continuing medical education and career development
Performance management and competency assessment
Essential
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with Nephrology sub-specialty
Experience in a public hospital setting
Specialist recognition for billing patients
Willingness to participate in quality assurance activities
Desirable
Intervention nephrology skills
Research experience
Teaching and training experience
Commitment to medical education
Mandatory Requirements

Driver's Licence
