Seventy Eight on Rundle is a busy, vibrant cafe located in the heart of Kent Town.
We're looking for an experienced Barista / Duty Manager to join our team.
Key responsibilities
Preparing consistently high-quality coffee in a fast-paced cafe environment
Confidently managing the coffee machine during busy periods
Overseeing daily cafe operations and ensuring smooth service
Leading, motivating and supporting team members
Providing exceptional customer service and building relationships with regular customers
Opening and closing the cafe, including cash handling and daily procedures
Assisting with stock control, ordering and maintaining presentation standards
Ensuring food safety, cleanliness and workplace procedures are followed
Supporting the owner with the day-to-day running of the business
About you
Previous experience as a barista in a busy, high-volume cafe is essential
Robust coffee knowledge and excellent milk texturing and latte art skills
Previous supervisory or duty management experience is highly regarded




Confident working independently and making decisionsExcellent communication and leadership skills
A positive, friendly attitude with a strong work ethic
Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure and work efficiently
Reliable, punctual and willing to jump in wherever needed
A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
