Job/Responsibilities
Council is currently looking for qualified and motivated people to join the team asCasual Hospitality Assistants.
As a Casual Hospitality Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality events and functions for Orange City Council.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will provide exceptional customer service to guests and patrons.
These are on the floor, customer focused positions where you will be:
Setting up events including setting and arranging tables, looking after patrons needs, resetting of room and closing duties
Clearing tables, glass collection, food and beverage attendant duties, dishwashing and cleaning




Providing professional beverage table service (with RSA) following correct procedures and processing cash payments as required
Performing housekeeping duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping and general cleaning
To be successful you need to:
Experience in customer service, hospitality or events.
Strong communication skills
Be physically fit and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
Be hardworking and able to work as both a team and independently
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and varying shifts
Have a willingness to complete a Criminal Background
Check RSA Competency Card is desirable but not essential
Hourly Rate: $*****
