Task & responsibilities
preparing and conducting a wide range of child-focused activities
supervising toileting, hygiene, and the daily routine of children (including recreational activities)
assessing and preparing, as required,



materials and equipment for educational and recreational activities for children
entertaining children, which may include reading and playing games with them
guiding child social behaviours and development
recording observations for both Department compliance purposes and for evidencing (for parents) progress along growth pathways
Qualification & experience
Have experience working within a childcare centre, and have a Diploma-level certificate or be able to obtain one
Be able to establish positive educator/parent relationships
Ensure that Oxanda's philosophy, policies and procedures are upheld and implemented
Have a good knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, NQF, NQS, State and Commonwealth Regulations
All potential employees and volunteers will be required to comply with Oxanda's Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct Policy
