We supply quality timber and building products to trade and retail customers and are known for our reliability, service and strong team culture.
We're looking for an experienced Yardperson who wants a stable, long-term role in a supportive and well-run environment.
About the role
This is a hands-on role responsible for all aspects of our timber and hardware products, ensuring orders are prepared accurately and on time (and supporting receiving, storing and dispatching)
Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
Loading and unloading trucks
Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
Organising and maintaining stock in the yard
Serving customers and supporting the wider team
Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised work environment
Following all health and safety procedures
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience in a timber yard, hardware or warehouse environment
A current forklift licence (essential)
Solid understanding of safe manual handling practices
Physical capability to handle repetitive lifting and yard work
A reliable work ethic and commitment to showing up and getting the job done
Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
MR (medium rigid) or HR (heavy vehicle) licence
Knowledge of building materials and timber products
