About the Role
Wyong Hospital is seeking a dedicated and collaborativeConsultant Psychiatristto join its energetic mental health team.
This role focuses on providing high-quality psychiatric care within the hospital'sAdult Acute Inpatient Mental Health Unit, which supports patients requiring short- to medium-term admission for assessment and treatment.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering comprehensive psychiatric care in a multidisciplinary inpatient setting
Supporting clinical decision-making and recovery-oriented care
Providing leadership and supervision to junior medical staff and trainees
Contributing to service development and integration of culturally safe practices
