Demonstrated competency in clinical skills including advanced life support with ability to perform ALS procedures 9must have current ALS Certificate), interpreting patient history, physical examination, pathology, ECG and radiological investigations to diagnose easy and complex Emergency Medicine presentations.
Must have Emergency, Trauma, Adult & Paediatric Life Support experience and advanced adult and paediatric life support skills.
We have ED FLEC trained nursing staff.
Duties
Face-to-face clinical handover with night ED doctor at ****
*********** in the Emergency Department, complete discharge summaries and review admitted patients as requested.
Provide onsite medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department.
Complete contemporaneous and comprehensive clinical documentation in eMR.
Provide and lead clinical review, rapid response, trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility.
Check pathology and radiology results in the ED results message centre ordered by any doctor, follow-up and document management plans for any results needed further action and review any patients returning for follow-up of results.
