About the Role
Desian Education are delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Aintree.
This is a fantastic prospect for a passionate Key Stage 2 practitioner looking to secure a full-time, long-term teaching position from January ****. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, challenge and inspire pupils as they progress through Upper Key Stage 2, and contribute positively to a thriving school community.
Key Responsibilities
Full responsibility for a Year 5 class
Planning, delivering and assessing lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Monitoring pupil progress and implementing appropriate interventions where required
Preparing pupils for the increasing academic expectations of Upper Key Stage 2
Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff
Contributing to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Full Enhanced DBS
Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
Confident delivering the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum
Has strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
Demonstrates a positive, nurturing and professional approach
Is reliable, committed and able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
