Looking to build a rewarding career in sales but don't know where to start?
At Select Electrical & Solar Solutions, we're looking for a motivated Junior Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This is an entry-level role designed for someone with excellent customer service skills who is ready to take the next step into skilled sales.
You don't need previous sales experience or knowledge of the electrical, solar or air conditioning industry. We'll teach you everything you need to know.
You'll receive training and mentoring while working alongside one of our experienced Sales Consultants. As your confidence grows, you'll gradually progress through every stage of our sales process.

What You'll Be Doing
Learn our products, systems and sales process from the ground up.
Contact prospective customers and assist with appointment setting.
Support our Senior Sales Consultants with customer enquiries and sales opportunities.
Build genuine relationships with customers and provide exceptional service.
Gradually take ownership of more of the sales process as your skills develop.
Maintain accurate records using our CRM.
Contribute to team goals and KPIs while developing your own career.
What Success Looks Like
You'll be supported as you develop,



but this is ultimately a performance-based sales role.
The key KPIs include:
Minimum 30 initial calls per day, with a target 25% success rate for appointments booked.
Minimum 2 discovery calls or 1 presentation per day.
Following the initial training period, a minimum target of $150,000 in sales per month
We're Looking For Someone Who
Has outstanding customer service skills.
Is confident speaking with people both over the phone and in person.
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Is eager to learn and accepts coaching.
Wants to build a long-term career in sales.
Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
Has good computer skills (CRM experience is a bonus but not essential).
Holds a current Australian Driver's Licence (preferred).
