Casual Reception & Events – Golftec Melbourne
Golftec Melbourne is looking for an outgoing, confident person to join our team across reception, membership sales and corporate functions. You'll help host our corporate events while also looking after members, welcoming current customers and keeping our front desk running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
Welcome and engage with members, new customers and corporate groups
Talk customers through our memberships, trials and services
Actively sell memberships, follow up enquiries and help customers find the right option
Build relationships with members and make them feel welcome
Help set up, host and pack down corporate functions
Keep events on track and make sure guests are looked after
Assist with drinks service and catering coordination
Handle bookings, payments and general reception duties
Keep the venue organised,



presentable and running smoothly
About you
Outgoing, confident and comfortable starting conversations
A natural communicator who enjoys building relationships
Comfortable recommending memberships and asking for the sale
Motivated by sales targets and delivering great customer service
Organised and able to juggle front desk duties with a busy function
Reliable, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of a shift
Comfortable capturing content on a phone—an eye for social media is a bonus
Available primarily on Saturdays and weekdays in the lead-up to Christmas
Experience in sales, hospitality, events, reception or customer service would be valued
