Federal Government agency
to recruit an experienced
APS6 Project Officer
to support the delivery of complex ICT and digital transformation initiatives.
This is an excellent prospect for a highly organised project professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across technical and business teams to drive project outcomes. Reporting to senior project leadership, you will play a key role in coordinating project activities, monitoring deliverables, supporting governance processes, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring projects remain on track against agreed priorities and timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and support the delivery of ICT project activities across a complex program environment.
Maintain project plans, schedules, risk and issue registers, action logs and reporting documentation.
Prepare governance packs, meeting agendas, minutes, briefing papers and status reports.
Monitor project milestones, dependencies and deliverables, escalating risks and issues where required.
Engage with a broad range of stakeholders across business and technical teams.
Support project governance, planning, prioritisation and continuous improvement activities.
About You
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
Experience supporting or coordinating projects within a complex ICT or digital delivery environment.




Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience developing and maintaining project management artefacts and reporting.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving capability.
Experience working within Federal Government or Agile project environments will be highly regarded.
