We're looking for a capable, reliable babysitter and family helper to support our busy family with three energetic children aged 6, 8 and 10.
Our ideal person is warm, confident and calm, and can keep energetic kids engaged while setting clear, consistent boundaries. Our 8-year-old daughter is autistic and can find changes and transitions challenging, so patience, flexibility and a calm but firm approach are significant. Experience supporting autistic children would be highly valued.
The role includes:
Caring for the children and organising age-appropriate activities.
Helping with routines and supporting positive interactions between siblings.
Preparing children's lunches and snacks.
Helping with light household tasks, such as putting away clean washing and tidying children's areas.
We already work with some wonderful helpers, but they don't always have availability We're looking for someone who follows through, uses their initiative and communicates well. We'd love to find someone who can build a trusting, ongoing relationship with our children.
