LP Road Services is seeking an experienced
Bitumen Sprayer Operator
to join our growing team in Wodonga, VIC. This is a
full-time position
that plays a crucial role in our road construction and maintenance operations. As a Bitumen Sprayer Operator, you will be responsible for operating specialised bitumen spraying equipment to apply bitumen and other materials to road surfaces. This role is essential to ensuring the quality and durability of road infrastructure projects and directly contributes to the success of our construction operations.
Your Responsibilities
Safely operating and maintaining bitumen sprayer trucks and associated equipment.
Setting up and adjusting equipment to achieve accurate application rates and consistent coverage.
Monitoring bitumen temperatures, spray pressures and application rates.
Conducting daily pre-start inspections, routine servicing and maintenance.
Identifying and reporting equipment defects, incidents and potential hazards.
Following company policies, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and site safety requirements.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including correct use of PPE.
Completing spray records and relevant site documentation.
Working collaboratively with crew members, supervisors and contractors.
Assisting with general road construction and stabilisation works as required
What We're Looking For
Previous experience operating bitumen sprayers or similar road construction equipment.
Current HR or HC Heavy Vehicle Licence.
Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Sound mechanical knowledge and equipment maintenance skills.
Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Willingness to travel, work away from home and undertake weekend or night shifts when required.
Highly Regarded
RIICBS307E – Conduct Bitumen Sprayer Operations, or equivalent competency.




Experience in spray sealing, pavement rehabilitation and civil construction.
Experience operating additional civil plant and equipment.
