An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, innovative and highly motivated Student Wellbeing Specialist - Primary to join our vibrant Primary School community at our Meadow Springs Campus. This is a part-time (0.6FTE) fixed term position for the **** school year.
The Student Wellbeing Specialist is responsible for the planning, delivery and evaluation of a comprehensive social and emotional learning program for students from Pre-Primary to Year 6. Working collaboratively with the Principal, Head of Primary, leadership team, classroom teachers, Learning Enrichment staff, Chaplain and families, the successful applicant will promote student wellbeing, restorative practices, positive relationships and a strong culture of pastoral care across the Primary School.
The role provides specialist teaching in social and emotional learning and supports the implementation of whole‐school wellbeing initiatives, helping to foster resilience, emotional regulation, empathy, self‐awareness, positive relationships and student success. The successful applicant will be a highly organised, relationship‐focused qualified with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing and development of young people.
