About the Role:
n
n We are seeking a Sales & Quoting Specialist to act as the primary point of contact for trade customers, managing enquiries, quotations, order processing and ongoing account relationships.n
n

The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing, production and logistics teams to ensure orders are accurately quoted, processed and delivered.n

Key Responsibilities Trade Sales & Customer Service
n
n
Act as the first point of contact for trade customers via phone, email and in person.
n
Provide advice on timber doors, mouldings, profiles and finishes.
n
Respond to enquiries and quotation requests.
n
Convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
n
Build and maintain strong trade account relationships.
n
Identify upselling and repeat-order opportunities.
n
Resolve customer issues professionally and effectively.
n
Quoting & Estimating
n
n
Prepare and price quotations independently.
n
Ensure accurate pricing of materials, labour and project scope.
n
Generate quotations on the spot where possible.
n
Follow up submitted quotations.
n
Update and revise quotations as required.
n
Order Management
n
n
Process sales orders accurately through internal systems.
n
Track customer orders through production and delivery.
n
Keep customers updated on lead times and progress.
n
Resolve order discrepancies before they impact customers.
n
Conduct post-delivery customer follow-up.
n




Account Management & Administration
n
n
Manage trade accounts from enquiry through fulfilment.
n
Maintain customer records and information.
n
Complete data entry, filing and document management.
n
Coordinate customer appointments and internal meetings.
n
Process transactions accurately.
n
Cross-Functional Collaboration
n
n
Work alongside Sales, Production, Logistics and Purchasing teams.
n
Confirm production lead times and delivery requirements.
n
Resolve internal issues within agreed timeframes.
n
Share customer feedback to improve service.
n
Assist other departments during peak periods.
n
Systems & Process Improvement
n
n
Use ERP and CRM systems daily.
n
Maintain product, pricing and market knowledge.
n
Contribute to process improvements.
n
Support reporting and system enhancements.
n
Participate in ongoing training and development.
n

Essential Experience
n
n
Trade sales, customer service or sales support experience.
n
Strong estimating and quoting experience.
n
Ability to accurately price bespoke jobs independently.
n
Experience managing quotations through to fulfilment.
n
CRM and ERP experience.
n
High-volume customer interaction experience.
n
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
n
