About CBRE And Experience Services
CBRE is the world's largest commercial real estate services firm. Experience by Industrious is CBRE's global hospitality business that partners with leading companies and landlords to design and operate workplaces people love coming to. We treat the daily experience of work as a product worth obsessing over, and we build our teams with people who feel the same way.
About The Role
The Concierge turns guest requests into answers that make their day easier. You handle requests, recommendations, and the front-of-house welcome that sets the tone. You also serve as the primary point of contact for people entering the building, and you keep a running, current knowledge base of the area that makes your recommendations specific and useful. You will be successful in this role when you anticipate what guests, tenants, and clients need before they ask, and leave every interaction with a robust impression of the building and the service behind it.
What You'll Do
Greet employees, guests, and visitors as they enter the facility so every person is welcomed and directed to the right place.
Arrange and confirm recreational, dining, and business activities so guests and employees get a prompt, reliable answer to every request.
Record and log service requests and track them to closure so the person who asked always knows where their request stands.
Build and maintain a database of local recommendations covering transportation, dining, and entertainment so employees and guests get useful answers quickly.
Deliver customer service that encourages guests and tenants to refer personal and business associates.
Follow property security and emergency procedures and notify the appropriate parties to keep occupants and visitors safe.
Guide the team on practices and procedures and resolve complex service problems to meet team objectives.
What You'll Need
5 or more years of experience in hospitality, concierge, or premium customer service.
In-depth knowledge of the local area: restaurants, transportation, venues, and services.
Comfortable with standard workplace and collaboration tools (email, documents, spreadsheets, and scheduling).
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with regular guests and tenants.
Strong preference for prior shift-manager or supervisory experience, a hotel or luxury-hospitality concierge background, and experience managing a local vendor and recommendations database.
Get energy from imparting kindness, help, and recommendations to others. The more people you interact with in a day, the better you feel when you head home.
Are your friends' and family's go-to person for restaurant and city recommendations,
because you always know the perfect spots.
Are known for noticing a guest, friend, or family members needs something before they ask. People constantly tell you "I can't believe you read my mind on that."
Are calm under pressure. You genuinely love the chaos of the unpredictable and take pride in navigating tricky moments with a steady mind.
