Salary:
$75,000 - $82,000 depending on skills and experience
Steeped in history, Fondata **** located in beautiful Kangaroo Ground is the revival of the iconic Weller's, we are currently seeking anexperienced Chefs to join our dedicated kitchen team.
Established in **** as a Cobb & Co Inn, Fondata is now a busy Italian inspired restaurant. Boasting an 80-seat dining room, two large private function spaces, stunning outdoor dining areas along with large open fireplaces, Fondata is the perfect venue for locals, travellers and weddings.
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our busy close knit kitchen team at Fondata ****. Reporting to the Head Chef you will be part of a team that strives to provide our customers with the highest quality rustic Italian food on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities may/will include the following:
Running your own section with pride and precision
Prepping, cooking, and plating food to perfection
Assist in menu planning, development, and execution of dishes
Maintain high-quality standards for food preparation and presentation
Oversee kitchen operations and staff during service
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Manage stock control and ordering to minimize waste
Support and train kitchen staff (depending on role)




Skills & Experience:
Previous experience within a similar fast paced kitchen - no less than 1-year.
A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality or equivalent qualification or experience
A passion for creating and delivering exceptional Italian inspired food.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
Exceptional leadership skills with the proven ability to motivate and mentor a large team.
Excellent communicationskills & positive attitude.
Immaculate presentation and passionate customer service advocate.
Overall knowledge of all operations, ordering, stock control and working to budgets
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, public holidays and weekends.
