WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
Enaex Australia is seeking experienced and safety-focused Shotfirers to join our team at Jellinbah, QLD. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in the safe and efficient execution of surface blasting activities, ensuring quality outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute surface blasting activities in accordance with blast plans, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Coordinate personnel, equipment, explosives, and accessories required for blast loading, tie-in, and initiation activities.
Supervise blast crews during charging, tie-in, and initiation activities while maintaining blast security and exclusion zones.
Conduct pre-blast and post-blast inspections, initiate blasts, and complete associated reports and records.
Identify and manage operational risks including misfires, blast area hazards, and post-blast fume events.
Maintain inventory control, ensure compliance requirements are met, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ideally you will have:
Current State Shotfirer's Licence and relevant security clearances.
Strong understanding of blasting operations, risk management, and safety compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and Zero Harm
