About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated
Pharmacist in Charge
to lead our pharmacy and provide an exceptional customer experience. This is a sole pharmacist role with support from a dispensary technician two days per week. You will oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including dispensing, patient care, and team leadership, while upholding professional and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the pharmacy and dispensary team to ensure effective workflow and minimal customer wait times
Deliver exceptional customer service in line with our "Making a Difference" principles
Promote in-store health initiatives and provide healthcare solutions, including vaccinations and over-the-counter recommendations
Manage dispensary operations: prescriptions, stock control, claiming, filing, and accuracy checks
Supervise and coach staff to maintain high standards of customer service and team collaboration
Dispense cannabis products and manage ordering processes
Administer and promote vaccination services




Prepare Webster packs (approximately 20 per week)
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, OHS policies, and pharmacy procedures
Requirements
Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
Current
AHPRA registration
Personal indemnity insurance
Vaccination-trained pharmacist
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Professional, ethical, and patient-focused approach
Experience with dispensary software (Fred NXT + POS; soon transitioning to LS Retail POS)
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
