About the Role
A creative agency in Sydney is looking for a commercially minded Freelance Social-First Strategist to jump straight into an upcoming high-stakes RFP response.
Working directly alongside the agency’s pitch team and account leads, you will help dissect the brief, identify cultural and audience insights, shape the overarching social-first and content strategy, and take the lead on writing clear, persuasive sections of the strategic submission. Experience working on automotive brands a plus!
Key Responsibilities
- Pitch Strategy & Narrative: Collaborate with creative and strategic leads to shape a distinctive, competitive social-first pitch response.
- Content Frameworks: Develop actionable content pillars, platform architecture, and community engagement models tailored to the prospective client.
- Deck Writing:
Craft articulate, compelling strategy slides and narrative copy for the final submission document.
- Sprint Collaboration: Work on-the-ground with the team in the Sydney CBD office to iterate quickly toward the 13th November deadline.
What We’re Looking For
- Social-First DNA: Proven background developing social, digital, and content strategies within a creative, digital, or integrated agency setting.
- Pitch Experience: Experience working under tight RFP/pitch turnarounds with the ability to articulate complex strategic thoughts clearly and concisely on slides.
- Automotive Experience (Bonus): Prior experience working on automotive brands or high-involvement consumer durables is highly regarded, though not mandatory.
- Availability: Available to start in office in the Sydney CBD within the next week and committed through to 13th November.
