As Chef de Partie at the Royal Motor Yacht Club of NSW, you will play an important role in maintaining high culinary standards and delivering consistently excellent food. Working alongside the Executive Chef in our newly renovated dining facilities, you will manage your designated kitchen section and contribute to a professional and ambitious team focused on delivering exceptional food and memorable dining experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Managing your designated kitchen section efficiently during preparation and service
- Preparing and presenting dishes to consistently high standards
- Maintaining food quality, consistency and presentation
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS standards
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and minimising food waste
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Supporting junior chefs and contributing to a positive kitchen culture
About you
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef ready to step up
- Solid culinary skills and attention to detail
- Organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy kitchen
- Takes pride in food quality and presentation
- Positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team
- Understands food safety procedures and kitchen hygiene standards
- Available to work a flexible roster, including weekends
