A highly regarded Australian law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its Family Law practice in Sydney, where you will work directly with a lovely Family Law Partner, providing all facets of admin and practice support.

To be considered for this opportunity, it is vital that your CV demonstrates a solid background providing administrative support in the area of Family Law, have an understanding of the and have full working rights.

The Role:
This is a varied and fast-paced position where you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Family Law practice group, with your main priority being to support the Partner. Responsibilities will include all aspects of admin and file support for high-net-worth Private Clients, including:

- Managing complex diaries, appointments and key court dates
- Preparing legal correspondence, Family Law court documentation, including Financial Statements, Parenting arrangements, Divorce Applications, and so much more...
- Online court filing (FCFCOA portal)
- Compiling court books, submissions and briefs to counsel
- Email and file management




- Billing and timesheet management
- Liaising with clients, barristers and other stakeholders
- Preparing documents for meetings, presentations and hearings

To be considered:

- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant within a Family Law practice group of no less than 2 years
- If studying law, you must still have a minimum of 2+ years remaining on your degree and able to commit to full-time employment for the years ahead
- Excellent attention to detail and document management skills
- Strong communication and client service abilities
- Confidence managing deadlines and court-related documentation
- A proactive and organised working style
