Payroll Officer

Hays Accountancy & Finance is partnering with a well-established organisation based in Adelaide’s southern suburbs to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who is confident managing the full end-to-end payroll process within a fast-paced environment.
Your recent Role
Reporting to the broader Finance team, you will be responsible for delivering an accurate and timely payroll service.Your responsibilities will include:

- End-to-end payroll processing
- Processing payroll using SAP
- Managing new starters, terminations and employee variations
- Processing leave, allowances and payroll adjustments
- Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records
- Payroll reconciliations and reporting
- Superannuation, PAYG and taxation requirements
- Responding to payroll queries from employees and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and within required deadlines
- Supporting the wider finance team when required

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Proven end-to-end payroll experience
- Previous experience using SAP
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Confidence working to strict payroll deadlines
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
