ABOUT THE ROLE

A growing commercial law practice is seeking a Solicitor with 2–3 years' PAE and an experienced Senior Associate to join its Melbourne banking and finance team.

The practice advises a diverse client base across a range of lending and funding arrangements, spanning corporate, property, infrastructure and acquisition-related matters. The work offers exposure to complex transactions involving both Australian and international parties.

The level of responsibility will reflect your experience, with opportunities to take a leading role in transactions, manage negotiations, maintain client relationships and support the development of junior team members.

You will:

- Assist with and advise on financing transactions from initial stages through to completion
- Prepare, review and negotiate commercial and finance documentation
- Work with clients and other advisers to progress transactions efficiently
- Identify legal and commercial risks and provide practical solutions
- Manage deadlines and coordinate multiple workstreams
- Develop trusted relationships with clients and colleagues




- Participate in practice development and professional networking activities
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and team development
