The pub prides itself on providing friendly service and a welcoming environment. It needs a Duty Manager who can bring a positive attitude, support the team and help make sure customers have a great experience every time they visit.

About the Role
The Duty Manager will play an key part in the day-to-day running of the venue, overseeing service, supporting staff and making sure everything runs as it should during busy periods.
Working closely with the venue management team, the successful candidate will help coordinate shifts, oversee bar and floor operations, manage customer enquiries and resolve any issues that arise. They'll also ensure responsible service practices, venue presentation and safety standards are maintained.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable making decisions, enjoys working with people and can stay calm when the pressure is on. The right person will be happy to lead from the floor, lend a hand when needed and set a good example for the rest of the team.

Your Skills and Experience





- Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or senior team member in a pub, bar or busy hospitality venue.
- Confidence leading a team, allocating tasks and keeping staff motivated throughout busy services.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of RSA requirements, workplace health and safety and general hospitality compliance, with current RSA certification.
