The Role

This is a diverse position that spans Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community access support. You’ll work with participants with a range of needs, from high and complex care through to capacity-building and social inclusion, helping them build confidence and independence in every part of their lives.

What you’ll do

- Provide sleepover supports, responding to needs as they arise
- Deliver personal care and manual handling, including hoisting and positioning
- Assist with medication management, meal preparation, and daily household routines
- Support participants to build independence and confidence in their own home
- Work as part of a rostered team to ensure consistent, high-quality care

- Support participants to navigate systems such as NDIS plans, housing, mental health, and community services
- Provide practical assistance, including referrals, outreach, and transport coordination to appointments and activities
- Advocate alongside participants for fair and equitable access to supports
- Build participants’ capacity for self-advocacy and long-term independence
- Support social inclusion by helping participants connect, engage,



and thrive in their community

What You’ll Bring

Required:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Current driver’s licence

Preferred (not essential):

- Cert III/IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
- A reliable, insured vehicle
- High-level support experience (e.g. hoisting, bowel care)
- Comfortable using apps and digital rostering/care tools
