About the role

Dentessential Dental Surgery is seeking a motivated, friendly and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. You will provide clinical support in a professional and welcoming environment, assisting the dentist with a variety of dental procedures and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting the dentist with a variety of dental procedures

- Preparing treatment rooms and setting up instruments and equipment

- Sterilising instruments and maintaining high standards of infection control

- Ensuring treatment rooms are clean, organised and ready for patients

- Providing friendly and compassionate care to patients

- Maintaining accurate clinical records and assisting with patient documentation

- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering dental supplies

- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

- Assisting with reception duties, appointment scheduling and patient enquiries when required

About you





- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (essential)

- Previous experience in dental assisting preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A friendly, professional and patient-focused approach

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- A good understanding of infection control and sterilisation procedures

- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
