About the role

RDHS is seeking a motivated and experienced Podiatrist to provide quality podiatry services across Robinvale and surrounding rural communities.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessments, treatment plans, foot care education and services to clients across community and residential aged care settings.

Key responsibilities

- Provision of podiatry services to inpatients and outpatients of all ages in Robinvale and at outreach sites.

- Provide podiatry advice on foot health, assessment and diagnosis of foot pathology, identification of treatment, care and rehabilitation requirements, referral to other disciplines as appropriate, and formulation of care plans.

- Educate clients and staff on foot health and care.

- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomes.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of community health services.

About you

- Bachelor of Podiatry (or equivalent)

- Current Registration: Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency

- Registration with the Australian Podiatry Council





- At least 2 years podiatric practice experience and experience in clinical supervision

- Current Driver's License

- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills

- Commitment to RDHS vision, mission and values

- Robust commitment to providing high levels of customer service (both internal and external stakeholders)

- Initiative, flexibility and ability to work independently as well as in a team

- High levels of self-motivation and initiative

Experience in rural healthcare and working with diverse communities will be highly regarded.
