Sparkways Early Learning Whittlesea is a welcoming, community-minded childcare centre offering a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore, learn and grow.

We provide programs for children from six weeks to school age, including long day care and integrated government-funded three- and four-year-old kindergarten led by experienced, qualified Early Childhood Teachers.

Available Position – Casual Educator (Certificate III or Diploma Qualified)

Earn up to $47.67 per hour!

We're looking for enthusiastic and flexible casual educators to join our team and provide relief coverage when team members are on leave or unexpected staffing needs arise.

This is a floating educator role, supporting our babies, toddler and kindergarten rooms depending on the centre's needs.

Already working in early childhood education and looking for extra shifts? This is a great opportunity to supplement your existing work with flexible casual hours while making a difference across our centre.

What's on offer?

- Casual rates of up to $47.67 per hour
- Minimum availability of 2 days per week
- 8-hour shifts, with opportunities to pick up additional days
- Variety through working across babies, toddler and kindergarten rooms

What We're Looking For




- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or currently working towards a qualification
- Availability for at least two days per week
- Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts, including opening and closing shifts
- Availability to work within our service hours of 6:45 am–6:15 pm
- Ability and willingness to float across different age groups and rooms
- Availability to commence as soon as possible
