We’re looking for an experienced Full-Time Chef de Partie to join the team and play an important role in one of our flagship dining operations.

About the Role

As Chef de Partie, you’ll take ownership of your section and be an integral part of keeping our fast-paced kitchen running at its best.

This is a hands-on role for a chef who thrives on the energy of a busy service, takes pride in their craft and enjoys working as part of a strong, cooperative brigade.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Taking ownership of your section and running it efficiently during service

- Preparing and cooking dishes to established recipes, presentation and quality standards

- Working closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver meals efficiently during high-volume periods

- Maintaining exceptional standards of quality, consistency and portion control

- Ensuring food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements are maintained at all times

- Supporting the wider brigade and contributing to a positive, skilled kitchen culture

- Helping deliver the consistently great dining experience La Piazza is known for

About You

You’re a passionate, reliable chef who takes pride in producing quality food and knows how to perform when the kitchen gets busy.

To be successful, you’ll bring:





- 2–3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar commercial kitchen role

- Relevant commercial cookery qualifications

- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment

- Strong food preparation and kitchen operations knowledge

- Sound understanding of food safety and HACCP principles

- Robust organisation and time management skills

- The ability to remain calm, focused and consistent under pressure

- Outstanding communication skills and a genuine team-first approach

- A professional, reliable and positive attitude

- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
