We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Casual Functions Supervisor to support our Catering Team at one of Melbourne's most prestigious corporate locations in the Melbourne CBD.

Reporting to the FOH Manager, you will use your leadership and planning capabilities to ensure the seamless delivery of multiple events each day, ranging from sandwich lunches to formal sit-down dinners and high-end cocktail functions, while maintaining exceptional food quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing day-to-day events.




- Encouraging team members to develop their skills through ongoing training and performance development.
- Working closely with the FOH Manager to ensure all legislative requirements and company standards are met, minimising risk and maximising business outcomes.
- Ensuring Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements are upheld at all relevant events.
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.

About You

You will demonstrate:

- Significant experience leading teams within the hospitality industry.
- A strong customer service focus, supported by excellent communication skills.
- Well-developed leadership and management capabilities.
- Proven experience managing people in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work varying evening hours throughout a Monday to Friday roster.

Please note: This role primarily involves evening work, with varying start and finish times throughout the week.
