- Work across major civil projects, with a variety of casual assignments and opportunities for both short and longer-term placements
- Subdivision, road, bulk earthworks and infrastructure projects across Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast
Torra Recruitment is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Civil Operators for upcoming opportunities with some of NSW's leading civil contractors. With multiple projects scheduled across the region, we are looking to connect with skilled, safety-focused operators interested in working across subdivision, road, infrastructure and bulk earthworks projects.
What you'll be doing
- Operating civil plant and equipment across subdivision, road and infrastructure projects
- Working safely around underground and overhead services while adhering to site procedures
- Carrying out excavation, bulk earthworks, trenching, backfilling and material handling activities
- Completing daily pre-start checks and maintaining equipment to a high standard
- Working closely with supervisors, labourers and project teams to achieve project milestones
- Maintaining a secure and productive work environment
What we're looking for
- Previous experience operating civil construction machinery
- Construction White Card (Essential)
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport (Essential)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Machine control/GPS experience highly regarded
