Sous Chef – Perth Airport (SSP Australia)

About the Role

SSP Australia is looking for a talented and passionate Sous Chefs to join our dynamic team at Perth Airport, on Full Time basis.

This is a great opportunity to be part of something new from the ground up! You’ll be supported by an experienced leadership team and work closely with a professional Executive Chef and a highly skilled culinary team.

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to support and lead the kitchen team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food, consistency and excellent presentation. You will play an important role in maintaining culinary standards, supporting team development and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role

- Certificate IV or higher in Commercial Cookery (Essential)

- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Essential)

- Strong passion for quality food, culinary standards and presentation

- Experience leading, supporting and developing a kitchen team

- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and WHS practices

- Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills

- A positive, energetic and can-do attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
