Opportunity for an experienced HR Superintendent for a three month contract on a FIFO 8/6 roster. This opportunity would also suit a Senior HR Advisor with strong mining experience who is ready to take ownership of site based HR delivery.
As the standalone HR representative on site, you will be the key point of contact for leaders on all people matters. Combining hands on HR support with practical business partnering, you will work closely with site leaders to address day to day priorities and deliver cyclical HR activities. While you will operate independently on site, you will have support from the corporate HR team.
About the role
- Provide practical, timely HR advice and support to site leaders across the employee lifecycle.
- Manage employee relations matters, supporting leaders to navigate issues fairly and consistently.
- Partner with leaders to understand operational priorities and deliver people focused solutions.
- Coordinate and deliver cyclical HR activities on site in alignment with corporate processes and timelines.
- Coach and support leaders in managing people matters and applying HR policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the corporate HR team, drawing on specialist support and escalating matters as required.
About you
You are an experienced HR Superintendent or Senior HR Advisor who brings sound judgement, a practical approach and the confidence to work independently in an operational environment.
- Relevant HR experience within the mining industry is essential, ideally with significant site based HR exposure.
- Robust experience in employee relations, HR business partnering and cyclical HR delivery.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and provide clear, commercially minded advice.
- Strong relationship building and communication skills, with the confidence to coach and influence leaders.
- A hands on approach and the ability to operate as the standalone HR contact on site, supported by a corporate team.
- Availability to undertake a three month contract on a FIFO 8/6 roster.
