About the role

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Leading & working alongside a workforce including civil plant operators, trades-people & labourers

- Conducting daily pre-start hazard risk assessments & tool box briefings

- Working closely with the project management team regarding service and production targets & various reporting

- Liaising with clients on-site to ensure works are carried out in accordance with project requirements and expectations

- Coordinating day to day civil construction activities

- Maintaining safe,



secure, and healthy work environment by following and ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to

- Complying with statutory and regulatory requirements

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate for this role must be able to demonstrate:

- Experience in supervisory role specialising in Civil Construction and previous experience in concrete works

- Efficient and effective work systems, with strong ability to problem solve

- Ability to work unsupervised

- Confident and decisive

- Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office

- A high level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience in subcontractor management and coordinating resources on multiple job sites

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage individuals and high-performance teams

- Highly developed time management, scheduling, planning and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines

- Attention to detail, with a safety and quality focus
