We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to join a high-performing delivery team focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful technology-driven initiatives that are shaping the future of service delivery through data, automation and emerging technologies.
Working alongside experienced Business Analysts, Delivery Leads, Data Scientists and Technical Specialists, you'll gain valuable exposure across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to pilot programs and implementation.
This is an initial 12-month contract based in the CBD, with the potential for extension.

What You'll Be Doing

- Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and discovery sessions
- Create user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria and other delivery artefacts
- Support AI, machine learning, analytics and data-focused initiatives
- Assist with backlog management, sprint planning and agile ceremonies
- Track and manage risks, issues, dependencies, actions and decisions
- Prepare governance documentation, business cases, briefing papers and impact assessments
- Work closely with business, technology, data, risk and governance stakeholders
- Support project reporting, meeting coordination and delivery activities

What We're Looking For

- 2-4 years' experience as a Business Analyst within technology, digital, data or transformation projects
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, data,



analytics or digital transformation initiatives
- Experience eliciting, documenting and managing business requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to translate business problems into practical delivery outcomes
- Experience working within Agile or iterative delivery environments
- Strong written communication skills and experience preparing project or governance documentation
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Business Analysis, Information Technology, Data, Project Management or a related discipline
