As Store Manager, you’ll lead and support your team to create a positive and productive workplace to deliver exceptional customer service. You'll oversee all aspects of store operations while driving sales performance and developing your team to achieve sales targets. You’ll build strong supplier relationships plus oversee day-to-day operations, merchandising, stock control and purchasing. Go Vita Forster is already a trusted destination for health and wellness in the local community and we are looking for someone to help us continue to grow.

? The Role

You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the business, working closely with the team and building a strong understanding of our operations. Your role will include:

- Team Leadership: Leading and supporting a team of 6-8 staff to create a positive and productive workplace.



Increasing staff participation in education opportunities and developing staff sales techniques.

- Business Performance: Budget achievement and KPI performance tracking. Monitoring sales, managing costs and identifying opportunities to improve growth of sales and profitability.

- Purchasing & Stock Control: Managing stock replenishment, placing supplier orders, minimising out of stocks and working on budgets.

- Promotions & Specials: Coordinating monthly specials, promotional activity and product displays to maximise sales opportunities.

- Store Operations: Overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards and ensuring the business runs smoothly.

- Business Development: As you grow into the role, exploring opportunities to introduce new products and suppliers that complement our range and support continued growth.

- Rostering: Staff rostering and wage budget management.

- Visual Merchandising: Work with the team on visual merchandising and store presentation standards, around day to day as well as in store promotions.

- Product Knowledge: Building your knowledge of natural health products and the health and wellness industry.

? What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced manager who is organised, commercially minded and enjoys taking ownership of their role. Just as importantly, you'll have a genuine interest in health and wellness and a desire to learn about the products and industry.

Ideally, you'll bring:





- Previous management experience, preferably in retail or a similar business setting.

- Upbeat, friendly personality, strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a small team.

- Experience with stock management, purchasing and inventory control.

- A strong understanding of budgets, KPI’s, sales performance, costs and profitability.

- Good organisational skills, initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- A genuine interest in health, wellness and natural products, with an eagerness to develop your product knowledge.

Experience in the health food or natural health industry would be a bonus, but a genuine passion for health and a willingness to learn are what really matter.
