Kareela Aviation is a Sydney-based helicopter maintenance company located at Bankstown Airport. We are seeking a full-time, organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our dedicated team at our main base.

The successful applicant will be comfortable working both collaboratively within a team and independently at remote locations when required.

Key Requirements

The successful applicant will:

- Hold a CASA B1.3 licence.

- Have experience maintaining BK117 helicopters and LTS101 engines, which will be highly regarded.

- Demonstrate a solid commitment to maintenance quality, safety and compliance, including appropriate quality checks during and after maintenance.

- Hold a current, valid Australian driver's licence.

- Be eligible to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).





- Be an Australian resident, preferably based in Sydney.

Desirable Experience

Preference will be given to applicants with additional experience on:

- Airframes: Kawaski BK117 B2/C1, Bell 206/206L and UH-1H.

- Engines: Rolls-Royce 250, Arriel 1 and T53.
