Payroll & Accounts Officer role | Narangba location | $80,000 - $90,000 Super Your new company An established organisation based in Narangba is seeking an experienced Payroll & Accounts Officer to join its finance team. This is a varied position combining end-to-end payroll responsibilities with accounts payable, reconciliations and general bookkeeping duties. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of payroll while supporting the broader finance function. Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for: Maintaining employee payroll records and leave balances Processing fortnightly payroll for employees Interpreting and applying the award, including penalties, allowances, overtime and leave Managing payroll compliance requirements including superannuation,



payroll tax Responding to payroll queries in a professional and confidential manner Processing accounts payable invoices and reconciling supplier statements Reviewing and reconciling company cards Assisting with general finance duties as required What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in this position, you will ideally have previous experience in a combined payroll and finance role, with strong knowledge of payroll processing and legislation. Experience interpreting Modern Awards, would be highly regarded. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and be comfortable managing a wide-ranging workload across both payroll and finance.
